I had this problem with my BD-J5100/ZA. I called 1-800-samsung and opened a case. It went pretty smoothly. After a few questions they emailed me a UPS label. I boxed it up and sent it out and it was back and working in about 4 days.

Here’s the thing... there is no use explaining to those like yourmotherisaclassylady. Just say “You’re right! It was purgatory all along! You sure figured it out! Bravo!” and go on with your life...because it just doesn’t matter and they’ll never ever get it.
