You’re right, I guess I’ll stop doing my job because you don’t like it or whatever.

That’s the gross-vehicle weight rating (GVWR), which is the combined weight of the vehicle and the amount of weight it’s rated to carry, including passengers. The weight for the Bentayga V8 is more like 5,326 lbs.

For what it’s worth, your GX has a GVWR of 6,600, which falls handily into the Section 179 tax deduction

That number is incorrect. Thats gross vehicle weight. Curb weight is 5,264 lbs.

One point of contention. Bentley does NOT compete with Mercedes, BMW, or or Porsche. Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche may compete with Bentley, but it is not a 2 way competition. I’d say it’s more like Mercedes is the kid down the street on the local high school team, and he’s saying he competes with LeBron because they

7165 lbs????!!!!! I have a Lexus GX460 which we affectionately call “the bus” and it’s a lithe 5500 lbs. Mental.

I know this is going to come as a strange concept to you, but this is what some of us would refer to as a “reliable daily driver.” Hear me out for a moment, because I think I may help you see the light...

I am a sea cucumber, and I very much enjoy the Utne Reader, having been a subscriber for many years.

Right, so I own a Sterling, which I bought for $10,000 less than this example. Granted, it doesn’t have 26k miles, more like 260k miles, but this is just absurd. First off, you can’t find Sterling specific parts for these cars, and if you go to a Honda or Acura dealer looking for engine components with a Sterling VIN,

I can probably help you all understand this, as I keep hearing the same (incorrect) refrain. I was on the consulting team when Waze was acquired by Google. Then, I did some light consulting on the transition.

Golly that Lada looks like a 90's Range Rover mated with a 2016 Jeep Renegade.

$4k gets you my off road ready 1994 Plymouth Voyager.

Obligatory Top 10 Highest Grossing Movies of 2003 Post:

Hm. So you want Bad Ideas. Something that can replace a 4Runner. I admit, a Viper is a good idea. A sensible package of insane horsepower. Let’s... push the envelope a bit.

Used GT-R but then wrap it in something wild

Buy this luxo-rocket. A twin turbo V8 Blackwing. Yes, the one with the actual Blackwing motor.

2015 Jaaaaaag F-type R. Low mileage ones go for around $50k. No manual, but probably one of the best exhaust sounds out there.

I’ve just realized that one of the reasons the Porsche looks so good compared to all other EV’s is that they’ve always been designing cars with next to no front grille.

No thanks.  I don’t want to have to explain my vehicle to people.
