The Dune Miniseries completely redeemed everything wrong with David Lynch’s Dune. The SyFi series was accurate but had no soul. Lynch was all over the map, but it actually had real feeling.

Exactly right. I have a 76 spitfire, and when you open it up this is what all the guys do. the whole front of the car opens, there is no "bay" You can sit on the tire while you work on your engine. (and as it is British, this happens a lot) :)
