Heh.
Exactly right. I have a 76 spitfire, and when you open it up this is what all the guys do. the whole front of the car opens, there is no "bay" You can sit on the tire while you work on your engine. (and as it is British, this happens a lot) :)
The answer is always Miata.
My Fiat 500L has a 110 outlet in the center console, as well as a 12v in the front, and a 12v one in the trunk/hatch area. Very convenient.
Isn't this a Triumph Spitfire?
The R series was basically the Daimler version of the Chrysler Pacifica. I had one of the first made, and loved it. Great family car. It died in a t-bone collision that bent the frame, we all walked away.
Eyes on the back of your head... :)
It appears to have very little changed from the Fiat 500L. if so, it should handle nicely, and be fun to drive (I have been having fun with my 500L)

I loved my Pacifica. Got it new in 2004 (or was it 03?) but it was a floor model and one of the first made. Drove it until I was T-boned and the car was totaled. I walked away. Thing was a goddamn tank.
Love my magnum for just this.
I love wagons. I had a 2002 Subaru WRX wagon, and now drive a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT. Wagons are the way to go.
