I don’t know what to make of this video. I understand that a lot of modern digital video recording will “stop” recording when it doesn’t sense motion. But the fact that a lady appears out of the middle of nowhere at 0:28 and that fucking “wet floor sign” at 0:47 has me thinking WTF? Almost seems like a hoax.

I’ll get back up to ride but I’m done riding that bike. I mean, I still have plans to ride it back to my FIL, but otherwise, I want nothing to do with the thing.

Yeah, the front crash bar was ground to the hollow bit. The rear was barely touched. That damn curb caused the mirror and brake lever damage and caused a small crack in the front wheel fender. Fortunately, all was fixed sans cracked fender for $260. Finding pristine crash bars what the hardest.

Precisely why I hate the fact that some vehicles are repaired after an accident. Depending on the severity and place of impact, not to mention the way many shops half-ass and cut corners, I would argue that the vehicle is no longer capable of providing its original crash integrity.

4th Gear: Speaking Of Europe, You People Love British Cars

I hope the VFR 1200X can be a decent competitor to the R1200GS. I drink the BMW koolaid but like my reliable and relatively simple Honda’s (currently ride a ‘14 NC700X). As much as some may mock me, I hope the VFRX can have cruise control. I’m tired of all larger Honda’s, sans the GL1800, not having CC.

Remember, the Iranians want nuclear for peaceful purpose. But those sneaky fuckers are hiding these little guys in caves...
