Alternative idea: don’t buy an RV. They’re just the absolute worst.

If you want something from the US market, the Japanese already had you covered by then with a pretty convincing copy. They even offered it in yellow.
I always get suspicious when someone spends a lot of moola on fixes, upgrades and mods . . . and then puts it up for sale, expecting to be repaid for his “investments.”
Fiat Sedici. I think they built them together in a joint factory somewhere in eastern Europe. It was replaced by the 500x, hardly an improvement.
Yes! Do it!
A close friend of the family had this car’s twin, albeit a Challenger, but in silver. It was a very neat car, very well screwed together IIRC. My other friend had a Fire Arrow, also a 5 speed, and that thing was a blast. Pretty much indestructible too.
My father had a brand-new Plymouth Arrow with the 2.6 and a 5-speed and he could make that sucker DANCE. It was bright blue with a white vinyl interior, the only options were an AM radio and a rear defroster, and I LOVED IT.
Here in Australia my family all worked at the Mitsubishi plant (ex chrysler and produced Mits Galant and chrysler Valiants at the same time!) and I remember the 2.6litre Astron with its ‘balance shaft technology licenced to Porsche” in the advertising of the day. These motors usually got bad rings and died early…
when its a wrx.... its bad.
Having once interned for one of Elon’s babies, and later choosing another employer with real work-life balance, I find myself taking this perspective more often. Shrewd and dedicated as Elon may be, lately I think his critical skill has been the ability to preserve a workforce that seems perfectly okay with working…
They came with a radio and an auxillary gas heater with a timer even. Pretty high tech for an A/C VW!
I think you could accomplish that with a hard right tern.
Just call it Girth Brooks and be done with it.
Well then, the entire formerly British Car industry. They blew world class designs and engineering and then it all crumbled to dust. They got bought out by the GERMANS!
It was already on an unlucky streak the day it was formed from a group of unlucky car companies. They engineered cars that were a bit ahead of their time and. Their 4wd/AWD cars and wagons, Jeeps and Jeep SUVs, and especially the small and affordable SUV were all vehicles that became the bread and butter for…
Is this even a contest? Because Preston Tucker has to take this one hands-down. He produced a car way ahead of its time and was squashed by the Big Three only for them to later use a lot of the features he wanted on his cars. Whether you believe the theatrics of the movie or not, Tucker was a prime example of how hard…
If we’re gonna bring on the flaming, let’s do it right:
I also disagree about the upcoming Z. Saying that the only difference is a new engine is leaving out quite a bit. Infotainment system is now updated. Programmable dash. Safetyad convenience features like adaptive cruise, BSMS, back up cam, rear motion sensors. Auto braking. He mentions that the engine is the only…
I agree. Almost everything that has come out of Nissan (styling-wise) has been a mess (the Cube, the Juke, anything under an Altima or Maxima basically), so when I saw this, I thought “wow, this is...actually interesting!” Plus, the fact that they didn’t really deviate much from the prototype impressed me.
thing touted as “self driving” or “drives its self.” From Tesla FSD/Autopilot, BMW Traffic Jam Assist, GM SuperCruise, etc , all the way down to simple lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. The average driver hears these features and immediately puts way too much faith in them, despite warnings from multiple…
