My favourite for these were first generation Chrysler Lasers. At a quick glance, they looked enough like the smaller Plymouth Turismo that you could easily look past the Lasers (which were actually fairly decent little sporty hatchbacks)

Nice car, nice shape ... but it’s still a tarted up Camry, and no Camry is worth $12K. ND.
If you need a parts donor for yours, this is $800 worth of parts. Beyond that it’s scrap metal.
This is a rare case of “buy it and DD it”. I don’t know that this edition of the Camry is particularly notable, even though it is fairly rare (the All-Trac wasn’t made in large numbers).

It’s got a ridiculously short wheelbase, of course the ride quality is going to be choppy as hell. These things are like driving first gen Honda Civics in that regard. The transmissions on the ones I drove shifted smoothly enough, and the engine was certainly adequate if not particularly lively. (Suzuki’s car engines…
If this was the Jeep you bought to do an EV conversion on, why on earth are you trying to get the engine running?
Nice specimen, but that price! ... ND
