Eh - the company name could have been a reference to the Greco-Roman diety ...

That’s not the point - nobody is saying the driver isn’t responsible for his role. However, inadequate fail-safes are an industrial design failing. I don’t care how much “keep your hands on the wheel” and other garbage Tesla put in their EULA and user manuals - they put together and marketed a system that has

So, will this be the case used to start holding Tesla accountable for its half-assed approach to automation?

Huh - never did see this reply in my notifications. The Mustang is in a _very_ unique place in the market. I don’t think Ford could kill it - the name has been a central part of their lineup for over 5 decades now, and they’ve managed to keep it relevant to younger buyers.

Yeah - I really don’t understand the rationale used. The argument was fundamentally a cultural symbols argument, and I’m kind of left scratching my head going “yeah - and a couple of meters of fabric is going to dissolve pretty fast when you are sliding along pavement” ...

... and predictably, the Helmet is protecting the top of his luggage ...

I’d seen glimpses of these in videos from parts of China. Thanks for filling out the details of what they’re about.

The first one I misunderstood what you had written - I figured he was going in armed with facts and evidence. What you describe is ineffective.

I would agree - removing all of the ego stroking and artifice that goes on in management circles would help enormously. However, that isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

That happened after I left.  They weren’t redundant, they were then able to start going after some of the bigger problems that had been postponed.

Hmm ... having worked in a business that was fundamentally engineering for a number of years, here’s what I came to observe about that cycle:

Like Trump, Putin always needs an adversary. He’s an old school Cold Warrior type, and Trump is perfectly willing to dance to his tune.

Ah - my bad.  Craigslist’s URLs threw me off ...

Are you saying they can’t even get “getting it wrong right”?

These weren’t terrible vehicles - definitely victims of GM’s “don’t give a fuck” approach to interiors in the 90s, but otherwise fairly reasonable.

    That’s $5800 CAD ... about $4300 USD...

NP - it’s a fairly desirable early 90s MB, seems to be fairly well sorted and cared for in spite of its age. I’d buy this - even though I’m not a big fan diesels in cars.

Except for having a unique door design (I’ve seen one or two others this odd), this thing hits the “godawful ugly” line pretty hard.

Yes, definitely.  The design in the 88-91 Civic really was a pleasure to experience.

Still one of Honda’s best generations of Civic (and yes, I count the Civic Si in with the CRX - both were fantastic cars)
