Sadly that’s not practical for me ...  it would probably cost me more to bring it across the border than it’s worth.

So many mixed feelings about this one.

    I don’t imagine you buying a 3 cylinder urban warrior’s car...

    Yes

I had a Firefly through university, and traded it in on a Civic Si after graduation.

... preferably before disconnecting the hitch, perhaps?

Ah yes ... Subaru designs from the era when they thought a trunk deep enough to stand a garbage can upright in would be useful ... (BTW - I loved the wagon versions ... but the sedan versions had a trunk that required preternaturally long arms to get things out of)

Those rear quarters on the hatchback look awful.  That great slab of metal looks like they draped a giant moo moo over the back of the clay models and decided “that’s it!”.

Look asshole - I’ll take my lumps for the error - I don’t appreciate you ragging on it incessantly. That interior is damn near identical to the Dodge I referenced - including the inclinometer in the dash. The Raider was the only car I ever saw with that feature.

    Hard CP -

The owner is an optimist ... a Neon, no matter its provenance will never be a 6 figure car, at least in the lifetime of any currently alive on the planet today.

Mine would always be the Datsun 240Z.  Still turns heads after all these years, and could be made relatively cheaply today.  ... of course passing modern structural and emissions regulations could be challenging

Shades of the Honda Crosstour - neither fish nor fowl, but definitely foul.

There’s far more than just this that stinks about Jason Kenney’s UCP.

Love the car - it’s in excellent shape, etc. But not $19K excellent. I’d consider it NP at about $12-$15K.

Wow - that’s an obscure bit of trivia!  I had no idea.

    Neutral:

I get it in a way - it’s one of those evolving projects which is never really finished. From that point of view, it’s an interesting “rat rod”-ish kind of build.
