This is $3K worth of parts ... unless you plan on undertaking a complete engine rebuild.  No compression in one cylinder is not a good sign.

    1st Gear & Neutral:

    CP ... hard CP.

500 pounds in the trunk?  Hmmm that’s either 500 lbs of stuff, in which case the vehicle isn’t going anywhere, or it’s 500 Pounds Sterling notes ...

So, besides being overpriced and perhaps a bit ludicrous looking, why do you have such a hate-on for this? I’ve seen a great many things far more egregious on other cars.

Weeping at the bell housing ...

Actually, I’d say a large part of the problem is that NAFTA set out the framework for two things that have fundamentally undermined the regulation required to hold the most destructive impulses of the “free market” in check:

May I bring your attention to the interiors of the following cars:

I know the colour you are thinking of - the local fire department here used it through the 70s and 80s. It’s very similar to the “Lime” colour everyone is going on about here.

I’d buy one in a flash if I had some spare capital ... and the time to give it the attention it needs.

I do remember a few cars from that era being a yellow with a hint of green. (gah - I hated those colours)

Love Zs - especially the 240Z. Magical cars in so many ways.

I stand by my criticisms of Musk’s actions (or lack of them).

While hardly at the top of Chrysler’s offerings at the time, it reflected the very successful Intrepids nicely. Possibly one of the few eras where Chrysler realized they had something good in one of their models, and actually tried to capitalize on it.

It’s in Oregon (pretty temperate), and it looks to not be suffering from any structural rust to speak of (need to get it on a hoist to be sure, of course).

I was leaning towards NP (even though it is a decade old Audi - which probably means you’re going to be spending some quality time with your mechanic) ... until I read the bit about its ownership history.   That screams “this car is a lemon” to me, with owners realizing major problems are lurking inside and ditching

At this early stage, I’m surprised that either party is commenting publicly - much less getting into an e-mail spat that will inevitably come out as part of discovery.

Scrap metal. I doubt it’s worth the asking price at the moment - it looks like it’s already been cannibalized rather heavily.

Executive leadership sets the tone for a company, and in many ways lays out the framework upon which the culture of the company will be built on.

... and sometimes, you really should just call for a tow.
