As a boxster gts owner with porsche torque vectoring (PTV) I can tell you it’s damn hard to break the rear end loose unless you turned traction control off. PTV was standard on the spyder and I can almost guarantee you he had traction control turned off so that he could smoke the tires (which he did).

If this isn't a good project for the Top Gear UK team then I don't know what is.

TM Concept must be getting design cues from recent Marvel movies now.

Back in 1996 I bought a new M edition Miata exactly like this one. It was one hell of a fun car to drive, but being 6'2" 220lbs it was a cramped fit and not good for long trips. It was also completely undriveable in the snow and the wheels acted more like skis than anything because of the wide tires and the fact the

That will buff out.

As an RX7 owner myself I can tell you that the wiring harness will get brittle over time, especially a 14 year old harness in a car that runs hot. The harness runs across the top of the block and right by the fuel lines and injectors in the area known as the 'rats nest'. I doubt the cold had anything to do with it,

For of those you who are curious what it currently looks like then here you go:

@TBIburnoutmachine: It isn't the RPMs that will throw it, it's the combustion pressure. Diesel engines will compress the air/fuel mixture to around 600PSI BEFORE it ignites. Combustion pressure is probably well over 3000PSI so as an earlier reader said the only difference between a combustion engine and a cannon is

One reason EV vehicles are cheaper to run is because there isn't an equivalent federal gas tax on charging your car yet. For that matter I don't think there is a state sales tax on your electric bill unlike buying gasoline at the pump.

The driver is lucky that the external combustion engine didn't land on his head.

That tree will buff out. The M3, not so much.

I hear they're also using pentalobe screws on the new GT-R to prevent owners from voiding their warranties.

Flavor Flav approves.

Give this guy a break, clearly this nut job was in a hurry to buy some 30 round magazines for his Glock.

Now playing

1975 Chrysler Cordoba. The rich Corinthian leather was beyond comparison.

Lexus must be stealing design ideas from VW's 'Thing'.

Personally I'd the best car I've ever owned was a 1996 Miata M edition which I bought new and drove it for 4 years. I never had a single mechanical problem with that car nor any squeaks or rattles that cars tend to develop over time. The only shortcoming of the car was that it drove horribly in the snow. Between the

That's a big grille for car that doesn't have a traditional radiator in it.

Mmmm gelatinous beef fat.
