What’s with all the ‘Musk derangement syndrome’ at Jalopnik? Seems like there’s at least 3 articles on the front page bashing him every day. Maybe that’s Jalopnik’s way of talking about politics without actually talking politics. I’m willing to bet these types of articles out of Jalopnik will go away once the election

That looks pretty simple compared to changing the air filter on a Porsche Panamera. It’s a 4 hour job and you have to remove the entire front fascia to change it.

Although the RX7 is on the top of my list the Honda Prelude is second. The 4th gen was a great car in my opinion.

I would argue the C6 Z06 Carbon Edition is even better than the C6 ZR1. The carbon edition combined the best of both cars, the LS7 motor with the ZR1 brakes, wheels, and suspension. Too bad they only made about 250 of them.

I present to you the Plymouth Sundance in its natural habitat. My sister had one of these in college and it was an utter POS.

Agreed, I miss my 9-3 Aero. The turbo v6 with the manual transmission was so much fun to drive. Your picture isn’t of fighter jet mode though. In fighter jet mode most of the lights were off except for the speedometer.

I’m not a big fan of these GDI engines because of the carbon buildup issues. For what it’s worth I bought a cheap 2018 Kia Soul with 110k miles in for my teenage kids to drive and discovered it was burning a quart of oil about every 500 miles. I did a piston soak with Berryman B-12, gave it an ‘Italian tuneup’, and

Plenty of headroom, funky, and definitely a project car. ‘Zippy’ though is out of the question.

Having owned a 2nd and 3rd generation R35 I think the styling on the 4th generation is the best yet. Despite their age these are incredible cars when you drive them the way they’re meant to be driven. But if you’re just driving around town and not trying to get arrested they’re just not that engaging.

Megatron approves.

I don’t know what to make of that noise but it doesn’t sound ‘authentic’. Why try replicating the sound of a hemi with clogged cats? I’d be more impressed it it had 126dB of electric motor whine.

This is a hot topic with the BMW dealers and they’re catching a lot of flak for this too. From what I’ve been told BMW is going to move away from all these custom builds and have more standard builds that they will disable features on or make you pay up front or subscribe to. This no doubt will drive people to hack

I for one welcome our simian overlords and look forward to their administration.

More importantly how far can this thing chunk a punkin?  Can it break the 1 mile mark without making ‘pie’?

Most motorcycles have reserve tanks. Why don’t they make EVs with ‘reserve tanks’ to eliminate range anxiety?

The touch screen the X5 is much faster to use than the dial control. Especially with the carplay screens. Just got my new BMW few weeks ago, glad I missed the cutoff. Unfortunately BMW still has chips for the engine auto start/stop function.

This is the car of nightmares, the slantback Caddy.

Wow, you guys are really overthinking this fictional problem. The picture shows turn signals for turning left or right. The more obvious problem is you don’t have turn signals for going up or down.

Why not name it Pepsofol? Michael Jackson already did a commercial for it.
