It's disrespectful to everyone else who made the effort to dress nicer, and disrespectful to the people who organized it. As I say, it's about more than just the clothes. By wearing what she did, it was a statement that she doesn't give a damn about the normal social etiquette, that she thinks it doesn't apply to her

I am with you. It is such a pet peeve of mine that people wear casual wear to formal events. I have zero issue that this girl wanted to wear pants but why couldnt she find a nice pair or slacks?

They should have stated a dress code, and it should have stated "Formal": then a snazzy little pair of tuxedo trousers would have been fine (and divine).

Did the principal say there wasn't a dress code as in there wasn't one written down or did he say that they were cool with whatevs? Because there was nothing in my high school dress code that said I had to wear clothes at all but I managed to piece that together on my own.

I can feel some sympathy for her for wanting to wear pants, but she went with jeans. Red or not, male or female, you don't wear jeans to prom! A line must be drawn. Again, to clarify: pants are okay, jeans are not.

I'm definitely going to start.

Imma need to see some pics of this green wedding gown. For science purposes.

Just don't do it.

As much as I desire true and lasting love, anyone who tries to hold my hand over breakfast will get a punch in the eye. Seriously, do not invade my space before coffee. Maybe I'm just not cut out for true love....sigh.

If I had to make my own breakfast after 70 years, I'd die to.

The cynic in me can't help but say "CO-DEPENDENT, MUCH?"

I come for the stories, I stay for the drama.

I assumed that the "What the hell do you mean is that all for me?" outrage was because he interpreted the question as something like "are you going to be eating all of this or are you sharing it?" but there is no explanation for his weird interpretation. God, imagine how mad he must get when asked "would you like

that was the most surprsing part of this article - I must assume the other 2/3 were consumed the night prior and only left unfinished because you fell asleep mid-cookie.

MATH. Provoker of internet fury second only to grammar.

and to be honest the whole "I start caring about women because i wanna protect my daughter against men like me" is shady as hell, like the woman need to be related to him for him to start treating women like actual people?

I don't understand how he left mid-reception, but members of the band were also leaving. That makes no sense, unless Robin and Barney threw a way shittier wedding than I anticipated. That, and his not moving were annoying, but it wasn't that bad a finale. Bittersweet. But it was better than Dexter and Lost. The only

Can I be crazy and ask this question—why are we fixated on the forgiveness aspect of this story? She left her baby in a public place where she would be found because she (a rape victim) did not trust her parents enough with the truth. The baby was adopted by loving people who raised her to be the kind of woman who, by

I don't think I could have had enough compassion to forgive my mother if she did that to me. Really impressive that she can.
