This body style came out when I was a kid, and I didn’t like it back then. It sort of grows on you. I think they were still using kingpins up front until 68, though?

One car to rule them all, as it were? Real car people have their own favorites, and respect other’s favorites... unless you’re in middle school, and then there is the whole Ford versus Chevy thing. For example, I like old Mustangs, but not old Shelby Mustangs. I saw enough of them in real time to not like how they

That rug really ties the van together, man.

Maserati Aspettando i Due Camion, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. Or Maserati Aspettando for short.

As lawn art, these are phenomenal. I wanted one back then, but a friend of mine that had two (one for parts) gave me the side eye when I expressed interest. Needs an LS these days. Also, less sad interior.

A star for your name, Choadsley!

People like minivans (CUV=minivan, SUV=minivan, most PU=minivan) so let them drive minivans. I’ll stick with my full-size sedan (45mpg) and not worry about tipping over so much.

1st Gear: Lincoln and Cadillac are non-entities these days. Okay, they both make huge minivans, but who needs those? If Lincoln doesn’t make a Mark 9 based on the Mustang platform, they are toast, and good riddance.

While waiting several months for a door latch to come in from Mexico, all the while having to leave my 98 Beetle unlocked on the street because door latch, which was NOT user serviceable, I asked the parts manager at the VW dealership if the part was in, and he shook his head and laughed at me, then said something I

Because you were raised in a minivan?

45-70 for that lever action, please.

The Volt is NOT a series hybrid. It is a plug-in parallel hybrid. For goodness sakes.

I dint know enginers could spell?

“The moment the Star Destroyer flew past in the opening moments of the film, every previous sci-fi movie not directed by Stanley Kubrick suddenly looked like garbage.

My Toyota based hybrid gets 20mpg better than the ICE version of the same car. I don’t think it is a small numbers problem.

Lutz sold it as a serial hybrid before launch (and Jezza crowed about what a better idea this was than parallel hybrids) but then Lutz admitted at launch that he had lied. So I think the press were skeptical and annoyed at the release.

Toyota based hybrids still use NiMH batteries. They’re only about 150#.

I’ve owned 4 Toyota based hybrids in the last 15 years. Very, very reliable (just anecdotal, but others report the same.) Brake jobs are at 150k miles, and I have yet to have a failure on anything other than rear brake pads due to improper installation at the factory. I heard the 2007 Camry had a ring problem, but

GM And Volkswagen Are Scrapping Not Good At Hybrids

Porsche has said that the Taycan should reach 60 in under 3.5 seconds and be good for 310 miles of electric range.” But not both.
