I don't necessarily disagree. I always read her reviews. I wouldn't come back if I dismissed them. I just think she makes some comments that are common in other sci-fi reviews from other shows.

Of course not - I have learned a lot from male professors, mentors, friends. But that is not the point. You are boiling down a social phenomena to an issue of opinion. It is not my opinion that this is a common trope in films/TV. It has been studied and it IS a common part of narratives involving strong female

One of my favorite aspects of the show is seeing how the timeline is changing. I don't see that as a problem at all. I think it opens a lot of doors. The 12 Monkeys and crew certainly didn't see it happening. It changes the game for everyone. For the better in the past (2016) and for the future (2044) - all without

I have found her review to be typical of sci-fi reviews in general. They hate character development and exposition. I have read many on many different shows. They like (1) to pick apart the idea that something could "Really" happen… it can't, its sci-fi!!!; and (2) they like action - lots and lots of action.

But sometimes some thing do! I completely understand the point. It is a trope of male characters either instructing or speaking on behalf of female characters. That or the female characters don't speak at all.

Love him!!

Thats a good point. My crazy theory is that she saw him take Adam in the park when they were young. She didn't say anything because she saw that it was helping her mother. Maybe followed him around and learned that he had another boy, then later tracked down the guy. She blackmailed him into releasing Ben as Adam. Far

A paternity test is easier and cheaper than a mitochondrial DNA test. That would have tested for Claire. The doctors was response was so bizarre. That was far more wacky to me than the DNA.

She framed Hank and then encouraged her dad to call about a disturbance. I think she saw how Adam's kidnapping helped her mom and she has orchestrated his "return". I am even wondering if she is somehow working with acne man. She may have seen him when she was younger and tracked him down? I know its far fetched but I

I think Ben's "return" was somehow organized by Willa. Don't know how it happened - wouldn't it be a shock if she is somehow working with acne man?

The reporter is actually a writer for a lesbian blog. She is using sex to get info from both of them.

Yes - you won't be bored. Its interesting. It has a Shonda vibe, but it is a little slower at first and a little less sexy.

"Hey, crazy doctor, do you really think a parent would forget which of their kids had surgery at age 5?"

They did on the bus ride to Carson City. The woman talked about riding with some many people of the wrong color. It seems things are somewhat segregated but that there are no internment/concentration camps in the U.S. There is a black character that shows up at some point (haven't watched that far yet). So I imagine

I know this is old, but I assumed that since the bag was Trudy's that they thought the woman stole the bag from her, not Julianna. That would have meant that Julianna didn't have the film to begin with - that Trudy had lost it/had it stolen from her before she was shot.
