The point just drove right past you. Better hurry up and go catch it.

If you don’t think they got rid of (aka scrapped) most of what went into 3's full-fledged 4 player co-op campaign-like, bespoke mode, to introduce the basic 2 player mode seen in 4 + 5, I dunno what to tell you.

When can we stop saying that an “advantage” a Switch game has over its other ports/versions is that it is portable? We know that. ALL Switch games are portable (save, maybe, Labo?), that’s the whole point.

They took 2's multiplayer suite, scrapped it for 3, and introduced co-op. They then scrapped 3's co-op entirely and put a new, far more basic co-op in 4 (the same system that made it’s way to 5 after being removed from Primal). They also put an all new multiplayer suite in 4, one that is totally different, but

Going dark.

How do you not understand you can have something be designed differently but provide a new or different experience?

Shaun of the Dead was literally marketed as a zom-com.

The co-op has been atrocious and remains basic as hell. The multiplayer suite from 4 to 5 was completely redone, instead of improved, and thus made far less unique. The animal companions from Primal were made worse for 5. The interesting ideas Primal brought to the table like decent melee was more or less removed

What does it say about a game system like gear score, a system chose to dedicate the very real, limited development resources in order to build, to then have players say outright, “that system doesn’t matter.”

Agreed. That was definitely another issue.

It’s gonna take a lot more than development delays to fix Unisoft’s problem. When your underlying design philosophy is exploitative and unnecessarily complicated, you’re going to struggle to design a good product.

Arena of Valor has been on Switch for months. Genesis launched on consoles a few months back. Sony made an exclusive MOBA for PS4. Smite has ben on PS4 and Xbox for years.

As someone who got addicted to HoTS twice and logged hundreds of hours, it pains me that the team never got the game up and running on consoles. I believe if they had managed to make it work (and the console ports of Diablo 3 give me faith they could have figured things out - plus the fact stuff pike Arena of Valor

“Activision fails to innovate, news at 11.”

Based on what? A small handful of positive articles?

If you read what I wrote about owning a sole Nintendo IP and only playing one other, and gathered that I somehow “focus” on Nintendo’s major IPs, then you suffer from a reading comprehension problem.

You didn’t even read my first sentence. Bravo.

It sure didn’t take long for a neckbeard to gatekeep videogames.

To each their own. I only own one Nintendo IP on my Switch (Smash). I borrowed Mario Odyssey (played it) and Zelda BotW (in my backlog) from a friend. But those are the only Nintendo IP I’m interested in (save for Luigi’s Mansion - maybe - and eventually Metroid or Star Fox; I guess you can toss in Astral Chain and

So you wouldn’t have to use the system. Why is that hard to comprehend?
