Frontmen from Seattle bands from that time - and not just grunge/alternative bands, but metal as well - have had a pretty rough go here.

Ah, dammit. I loved his work. Put him up there with Nick Cave in the pantheon of tortured, dark, and beautiful singer songwriters. I was really hoping to catch him live one day.

Sad to hear, although within the context of that scene he outlived a lot of other frontmen.

I don’t mean this to sound how I’m sure it’ll sound, because I love me some Walton Goggins and think he’s a handsome man, but... holy shit, he kinda DOES look like a Fallout ghoul and I absolutely see him in that role.

No joke.  I saw a preview for it the other night and it looked laughably stupid.  I’m kinda surprised to see it here as the top pick.

The first time I saw a commercial for this I thought it was some sort of joke (maybe a 90s era MadTV sketch?). Fox will throw anything against the wall to see what sticks, and that’s what I like about Fox.

Cage has been saying this for years. He objected to Laurence Olivier’s description of actors as “great liars”, claiming that he doesn’t pretend but creates and channels.

Fair enough. He’s not saying anything horrific nor is he delaying or issuing apologies for doing something horrific, he’s a goddamned standard of decency these days.
