Good thing Bull is indestructible.

Goddamn!  The Night Court cast is dropping like flies!  Is John Larroquette okay!?  And, what about Marsha Warfield!?

Aw man, I watched so much night court in syndication. It was such a tight sitcom and the cast was great.

The language of public denials is driven by reactionary mobs.

I’ve been working from home since last March, and my end-of-workday routine starts with a nice long shower at 4:30 or so. It feels sooooo good.

A rich asshole clock is still right twice a day.
Scarjo is owed money along with everyone else who was depending on those box office sales.
She’s just the loudest voice, but this doesn’t start or end with her.

This is 2021.  Water and breathing are ‘divisive’.

I just don’t get the appeal, and I grew up in the 70's and 80's. Hard to believe this marketing shit is being taking so self-seriously.

He did not do the right thing.

Qué ?

I see a bit of Basil Fawlty in the resort manager.

Yeah, I really feel like we don’t need an explanation -- they probably married young because they had a lot of fun together and both evolved/devolved/grew into bad habits, etc.

this is a Good Take. i also think everyone is just so impatient with TV shows these days...that being said the pacing of this particular one isn’t doing a ton of favors.

I feel like you can’t honestly mean that, because this is so relatable. Everyone knows someone who has married someone for reasons you can’t understand. People change over the years, and it’s quite possible Allison loved being with Kevin when she was younger because she also was a partying girl, but has grown out of

It seems like so many people take Allison’s refusal to even consider just leaving as some frustrating problem with the show, when it feels like the entire point. It’s easier for her to imagine killing him than to tell him to go fuck himself. Kevin’s not a calculating mastermind plotting to control her. He’s a piece of

Maybe it’s the culture I grew up in, but I don’t see it as being all that implausible that Allison fell into a marriage with Kevin without really thinking things through. Especially in such a small town (which they emphasized in the pilot when she wistfully tells Sam that he ‘got out.’) As a woman you feel the need to

Oh, I love the sitcom element. Among other things, it emphasizes how superficial Kevin’s life is in comparison to his wife’s, and it means he lives in a literal bubble, in which his incessant narcissism is being validated by everything around them (and seemingly by everyone falling into the pattern simply because

The meta point of the show is that these kinds of sitcoms (Everybody Loves Raymond, According to Jim) are horror shows, just a different kind.

Mary Hollis Inboden reminds me of early Rosie O’Donnell.

I actually went to a funeral where On the Turning Away was played. It was pretty awesome. I mean, aside from the dead person. But they were a big Floyd fan, so they would've dug it.
