Well this looks like the spiritual successor to True Detective season 1, and I say that as someone who loved season 3 and thought season 2 was better than it got credit for, even though it’s clearly the lesser of TD seasons.

I think Solo gets a bad rap, and there are moments and performances in that film that are pretty cool, but “unnecessary” is the word that keeps popping into my head while I watch it. Also not enough Emilia Clarke, and I thought the ending really petered out as well.
