Every time I here about that movie I wonder if it’s this one or the James Spader car accident porn one. It’s never the James Spader.

This film is a salve for everything else going on in the world. The content is profound and the delivery is mezmerizing.

I caught Moonlight the first time at a free screening, and then I went back a few weeks later to pay to see it again. IT’S THAT GOOD PEOPLE. An amazing story, beautifully shot, wonderfully acted. And what frustrated me in my first viewing is what I came to love in the second - that everything isn’t clearly spelled out…

I was so moved by Moonlight that one of the two bad reviews I read on Rotten Tomatoes infuriated me to the point of nearly contacting the reviewer to castigate him (he was so wrong on every criticism that my head was spinning).
