I don't care about The Jersey Shore or anyone on it but that was even more mean spirited than normal for TMZ (which I don't watch but see updates on here) and I appreciate whoever Roger is—it's a terrible feeling to leave feeling great about how you look until some asshole ruins it for you.

That is such a beautiful way of seeing it, my eyes just welled up a little. My brother is trans (FTM) and this seems like a lovely way of illustrating his choice to my future (highly hypothetical) children.

I still go back and read his blog answers sometimes. What an amazing writer and human being. And he and Chaz's marriage is the template that I want for my relationship.

I still miss this guy and his writing/reviews so much. Even when I didn't agree with his reviews, I always appreciated and respected his perspectives and insights on film. He was the real deal.
