What’s your stance on ramps? I use ramps for oil changes, etc... never have I had to lift all 4 corners. However, I need to do maintenance on a haldex unit soon, so I was going to do ramps for one end, then jack up the other axel and place on stands. That way the end I’m working on is on something solid... Of course…

There are both! Actual slots (2 of them in case one is occupied by NAV), and holders. So I can stuff 4 SD cards into my glovebox in a german made R. In a NA Alltrack which has a slightly different center console there are other various slots which just end up collecting crud...

Long time VW fan - as far as I remember, VW’s have always had a spot to place the gas cap so it wasn’t just dangling. However, I find most gas pumps have a flange on them that often knock it our of its spot, but it goes work when the flange isn’t too big.

Wow - tickle a nerve? They are not track cars. They don’t come from the factory with that makes a true track car - the cooling, the brake compounds, the suspension, etc.

If you don’t mind flipping to the Kraut side, get a Golf Sportwagen 4Motion with a stick. Pump some money into mods and you have a pretty close WRX equivalent.

STi badge does not make it a track car... Golf R, Focus RS, M240i, Civic Type R. None of them are track cars. They are fast street cars you can drive on a track, but track cars they are not.
