Super Mario 3D will kick ass. Though I'll enjoy a 3D Classics SMB. :3

I think the price drop itself screams that last bit. The free games are more of a "If we don't give them something to compensate for our overpriced hardware, shit will be stormed". All in all, I'm happy to be getting 20 games. :3

Not to mention there was a significantly cheaper model that did everything you listed here. There's no cheaper model of the 3DS (unless consumers confuse the system as a "new DS", which Nintendo's going to have to get around with marketing).

They're comin' at ya with Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Kid Icarus Uprising. Shame we have to wait, but I'm certainly looking foward to that. :D

I made a post detailing that they said early adopters will get the game, and the updated version that will be released to the public later on. I'm guessing they're going to give us a rom on September 1st, and make them into 3D classics later and give us that for free.

The PSP Go was killed by a variety of factors. The 3DS' suffering is only dependent on two things, lack of games, and price, the latter of which is gone, and the former of which will be solved by developers seeing units (hopefully) sell.

They mentioned something about the NES games getting updated versions that will also be available to 3DS $250 buyers for free later. I'm guessing we'll just get roms while they turn into 3D classics that will be sold among the public and given to early adopters for free.

Yeah, the median for NES games will probably be around 4 bucks (basing that off of GB games), while the median for GBA games will probably be 7 bucks (basing that off of GB games and SNES games on Wii VC), so 4x10 + 7x10 = $110 of stuff.

I wouldn't say that's 8 bit, the sprites look more 16 bit, GBA style. Still looks nice.

Ugh, but I hate the Sun.... It burns horribly in Texas, and I'm already dark enough, I get tanned pretty badly for being in the sun for an hour or so. Damnit.

There's a few 3DS exclusive games coming to the eShop. The Rolling Western, Mutant Mudds, and Mighty Switch Force. There's also a few, uh... Lesser known ones that no one really cares about.
