You can. I believe Gamespot or something played SSFIV3D while it was in the cradle, and it kept on charging.

@Torusan: Makes it easier to swallow the 3-5 hour battery life. I'm usually too lazy to connect my DS to its charger/PSP to USB. But this makes it easy enough where I can just throw it at a piece of plastic and sit down and wait.

Exactly. He's the reason why I don't have a room. XD

@Datacide: I like to do that to my 11 year older than me, 24 year old brother. Only when he pisses me off. :D

@Micahphone: Left is 3DS, right is DS. I'd say the jump is very comparable to the jump from N64 to Gamecube. I'd say it's even greater, when taking into account the shaders, the analog, the gyro, and the greater resolution.

@AGENT_URiE: I'm of Mexican descent, and I don't speak Spanish. :(

Left is 3DS, right is DS. Yeah, the jump is about as significant as PSP to NGP. That's like a jump from a Dreamcast without antialiasing to something near PS3 level. This is a jump from something similar to the PS1 to a Gamecube with shaders.

@Joel Johnson: Also have to consider that the DS pretty much had no internal, built in software (Pictochat is nothing compared to AR games and Face Raiders).

@Gwydeon: It's been confirmed for many months now that there's an option to hide them.

@kablammyman: It's known as Super Mario World: Super Mario Bros. 4 in Japan, if I remember correctly.

Now playing

Not to mention the animation is fantastic. Everything is so fluid and amazing.

It's still gorgeous.

Fine here, as well.

Well then, let's count the DSi. It has a few exclusive games as well. :)

Sadly, yes.

@Platypus Man: I wouldn't count it as a new system. It introduced a color screen. Nearly everything else (except the RAM I believe) is unchanged. The DSi has around the same amount of changes (faster CPU, more RAM), and the cameras that allow for exclusive games (only a few GBC games weren't compatible with the black

@Keanu: Neither did the TV Color games. They lost before they even lost the streak before it even started.
