This...this was a Chappelle’s Show bit right? I’m not just dreaming that? And the whole joke about the skit was that men basically just think pervy thoughts about every woman that crosses their path and lack any depth of thought.
Trading Spouses got turned in to a real thing, so why not this, I guess. Maybe next we’ll

Ali Davis, a sports agent

Agreed. This should not be made light of. Especially by a news site whose parent site was basically destroyed by the publishing of non-newsworthy sexual material without the subjects permission.

Absolutely agree. Even the worst shitbag in the world does not deserve to be revenge-porned. Attack him for the public harm he causes, not what he does in his private life nor for him being blackmailed over something that involves two consenting adults. This is a bad take, Jez.

This flippant tone seems really inappropriate when covering a horrendous invasion of privacy. Revenge porn is a form of sexual assault. This is not a “dick measuring contest” between two men, it’s one man revealing threats of sexual assault made against him by another. I get that Bezos is not a pleasant person, but I

Thats so sad :(

I mean I could’ve taken one look at it and said, “oooh yeah that’s gonna be a huge problem.” And I’m not even black.

Anticipating that this comment section will become a shitshow, I just wanted to say that I think that the advice is thoughtful and well-measured.

I can only imagine how terrified this child was as his teacher and a strange woman dragged him into that bathroom, and then the strange woman beat him badly enough to break his skin. No wonder he has PTSD.

What black face represents in America is simply not the same as in the UK.

Just an address. That’s all I need.

I’m about to flip out.

Reading this just gives me the chills. That poor baby!

The system really give no fucks about black children. The baby came back from school with whelts and CPS refuses to pay. I hope his parents find a way to get him out of there.

I went to a bar once that had a sign in the women’s restroom that said “if you are feeling threatened by a patron at this establishment, approach a bartender and say “Godzilla” and we will make sure the patron is removed.

Oh wow, that’s smart and stealthy.

I read on the internet (so it must be true) of bars where there is a sign in the ladies’ room to the effect of “If you are feeling uncomfortable ask for Rhonda [or some other name]”. You ask the bartender for Rhonda, he says “She’s working in the kitchen,” and he shows you out the back way where they have called you

I definitely dressed up Native when I was like six or so at every Halloween/costuming oppportunity I got, and desperately wanted to BE Native becuase I thought traditional legends were cool and the manner of dress in my kids’ books was better than the stuff I was supposed to be wearing, and because I knew jack shit

Some Senatorial nobody gives a perfectly fine answer to the blackface question and your response is “Not a good answer.”?  GTFO with this shit.

So, uh, I’ve never worn blackface. Since you can now be put on blast for saying you haven’t worn blackface the proper way, what’s the appropriate response? So, you know, I don’t offend anybody when I tell them I’ve never worn blackface.
