A lot, not all, but a lot, of the people that will bring this party up as proof Trudeau is racist, will be the same people accusing him of “destroying the country with immigrants” or “bending over backwards” for people of colour.

Just for the record, one of his opponents recently set up a billboard telling people to “Say No to Mass Immigration,” and has repeatedly posed for pictures with racist groups and a Holocaust denier.

I have said this before and I’ll say it again. If municipalities and counties listed the daily cost to house an inmate, this bushit would happen less. As of 2013, it cost Tulsa ~$55/day to house an inmate. Her crime equals less that 1 day in jail. This shit makes no sense.

She should have received a year of probation and that’s it. I doubt the villains of the opioid crisis will receive sentences that long. Both judges are heartless bastards to incarcerate a widowed mother of SIX children over fucking weed.

I’m glad the public came to her rescue, but it makes me think of all the other people who are in her exact same position who won’t get the press. That this was a 12-year sentence - even if she didn’t end up serving it - is an obscenity. That another judge modified her sentence to 8 years with 4 years suspended, as if…

1) The article and some of the comments mention this already, but the way The Cars managed to straddle both Classic Rock and New Wave without sounding like bandwagon jumpers or sellouts was something to behold.

He was 70 but 75 isn’t really that old these days. If he was 95 then it would be like “He died of old” but at 70 I’m interested in what took him  

For us old folks out there, it’s really hard to describe what it was like when the Cars first album came out and how every song just took over the radio. Not to mention malls and dances and parties. There’s not many albums, especially debut albums, that just exploded like that. Those songs still sound really good now…
