Civil War still made a billion dollars. People have already catched onto DC's bullshit. The X-men Movies have to deal with the fact there not part of the proper Marvel Studios, and Dr. Strange isn't out yet but I expect it to be a Thor 2 sized hit and make $650 million.
Just saw Star Trek Beyond. My favorite space movie of all time. While I appreciate the original Star Wars Trilogy and loved Episode 7, I just was enamored with Beyond from start to finish. It was my kind of action movie. And yes that means Guardians of the Galaxy is now number 2 on my personal list that I just made.

I meant more of the fact that a major blockbuster was going to be black instead of it being Black Panther. It was aimed at racists and how much they will impact this movie.
Racists. I hope there isn't any for this movie but I doubt it.

I'm excited to see how the first Black major blockbuster action movie does in theaters and the reception that it gets. Will it have the same internet vitriol as 2016 Ghostbusters or not?
I think the reason this movie doesn't feel as important as Harry Potter is because it doesn't have the name "Harry Potter" or a character going to a Hogwarts type school.

I don't watch the show but the fact he doesn't get what it's about makes me want to watch it. Even if I wouldn't get what it's about either. Oh and and a guy who plays Pokémon Go is someone I can get behind.
Pokémon is an institution and single handily Pokemon Go has brought Nintendo it's highest stock value in a long time. It's up to $40 billion now when it wasn't that long ago around $18 billion
It's funny how people here hate Pokemon Go but love Nintendo's other IP's like Legend of Zelda and Mario.
