Having no emotional investment in the franchise I just hope this is as good as Star Trek Into Darkness (another franchise I have no investment in) and manages to make 2 hours of my life pass by and make me laugh.

Yeah but I had a good time watching it because of Quinto and Pine's interaction, Pegg's humor, Zaldana's and Quinto's romance and Cumbershamalam's energy and obvious passion in the role.

The only Bond movies I've seen are Skyfall and Spectre and I thought they were the best non Superhero movies of their years. I've also seen the opening credit scene of Casino Royale with Chris Cornell singing over it and I can tell that is also a good movie to.
