Michael - thank you for this article. I have a particular hatred for the phrase “I grew up around black people” - as if that, somehow, gives a racist a pass and mutes prejudice.
Hard to argue with your choices here. I would put “Parks and Rec” in the mix though - that program was brilliant, and kept zillions of running jokes throughout the years. That, 30 Rock, Cheers, Mary Tyler Moore and Get Smart - I’d never tire of watching any of ‘em, ever.
