I can't say I've found Simple to have any major pluses. I am decent at "balancing a checkbook" so to speak and saving, and so none of the functionality is of any benefit to me at all. The bill pay wasn't particularly fast, either.

There's also AudioRemote and Kinsky and I think one or two others that I have since deleted from my phone because I found them to be inferior to AudioRemote.

You've got to show some examples, because the other comments here have all been links to meta-analyses showing no benefit at all. Yes, you might find one example, but it looks like across all studies, there's essentially no advantage.
