For the sake of this post that’s good to know! It was an ok early car, but a decent hill on the highway was a challenge.

92 Geo Metro XFI - 3 cylinder, 1 liter engine with a whopping 55hp. I didn’t keep track of MPG back when I was driving it, but it would go forever and at that time you couldn’t put 10 dollars of gas in it if you tried.

i3 - OK, but not worth $1000's more than a Leaf or eGolf unless you are really into its appearance.

Did you unlock the “larger” fuel tank? You can use an app to get the EU tank size and change settings on when the REX turns on. Here’s a video from TFL about how they did it:

The i3 is a great option and has a combination of several things that make it superior to other options, especially if you want to use it for more than just around town (and some downsides, too):

Someone more skilled at photo-editing could do a better job, but even my shitty ‘shop looks better. It’s not that it needs a grille, it just needs to lose the “look, I don’t have a grille” fascia.
