The “local machine” isn’t the problem. You could be sitting on the most powerful machine in the world, and if your network infrastructure is crap it’ll still run streaming like crap.

“Our platform is so good, you don’t even need it.” - Google

It hurts how much this is true. I have corporate experience relating to dealers. Once you see how the sausage is made, it confirms all that you thought you didn’t like about dealers.

Morrowind was my first TES game, due to some ads I had seen in PC Gamer as a lad. It was incredible, from all the strange sights and sounds, the unfamiliar environments, the unique Houses, and even the Guilds. There was always something to do, to see, and to explore in a big way.

The thing about Everquest I really liked that seems counter-intuitive was that for example to group up with a friend you would have to literally run on foot 45 minutes across a continent and some of it was dangerous territory depending on your level.

Valve charge 30%, Epic charge 12%.

“Most men think this is what sex is”

“Most men think this is what sex is”?? That is ridiculous. Most men reading this are horrified.

On PC, it’s actually worse than that. There’s full on automated bot trains running in some places. We’ll report it to ZOS, but nothing happens, and they’ll continue farming. I’ve seen ZOS respond twice since the game launched.

(also, you so get a star for that response lol!)

1) the vast majority of people complaining never bought the game

crazy how entitlement is still used to validate criticism.

Sweet. I’m looking forward to this!

the game is a great starting point for something really cool. People like to troll and bitch and will probably continue to do so at every news or update about this game, but honestly, fuck people

Well, I would place 5,000 tiles, and I would place 5,000 more, just to be the man who placed 10,000 tiles to fall down on the floor.

what this article ignores is the obvious third way - lying down. as a part time gigolo, full time game player my professions allow me to spend most of my life laying down. so far i havent had cancer. also its difficult to get angry when laying down - the world would be a better place if we all just lay down. zero
