I thought it was really good, while it didn’t reach the heights of the book for obvious reasons it captured the tone really well. 

I would love a Gambit movie personally, was always my favorite X-Man. At least he’s a relatively well-known hero rather than a villain that no one remembers? 

I thought the Catch-22 miniseries was pretty good, actually. And I think the actor from that is probably better known from his season on Girls.

Yeah I was super bummed when I went to check for the latest episode and realized that six was all we were gonna get. 

The original was terrible, I had to turn it off halfway through. Who is claiming that there is a Gerard-issance? The movie where a comet was going to hit Earth wasn’t bad but I can’t think of anything else 

Yeah the VR version is great. I’m deliberately playing through it so slowly because I don’t want it to be over. I actually never beat RE4 originally so its a great opportunity to revisit the game and see some stuff I’ve never seen.

It scratches the very specific sci-fi itch I have, but it wasn’t without it’s problems. The ending was weird af and I’m looking forward to another season if we get it. 

Yes. I eventually beat the RC Vice City mission with keyboard/mouse but it took forever and I had a lot of free time back then. I hope they fixed some of these missions for the remakes

Considering all the praise this game has received I thought I was the only one who hated it. It was super irritating from the get-go and I gave up on it pretty early on. 

I enjoyed season 1 but I wished they’d tone down on the YA vibe of the show. The comics featured kid characters almost exclusively but the tone was a lot darker

A remaster sounds great but I can’t imagine playing GTA3 and Vice City with the same janky controls/aiming. Are they redoing the gameplay as well? 

Read this whole review and still curious as to why Jonathan Franzen is so disliked, or is he? Is that really the case, and do people even pay enough attention to the book world to form strong opinions about Jonathan Franzen? What was even the point of leading the review with all that? It all sounds exhausting to pay…

Does “post-covid” mean that covid is no longer something we are dealing with, or that it has occurred and is still occurring in the world of the show? Because we are very much still dealing with it

Heating up tortillas in bacon grease for breakfast tacos is just about the most amazing thing ever. you can even cook the bacon for your tacos, dump out the excess grease and then throw the tortillas in the pan right after. gives them such a delicious flavor
