Sure do whatever you want Apple. I won't care until I see some games. If its just letting me play Angry Birds on my TV (using my touch screen remote) then no thanks.

Microsoft also happened to have a killer app available for their system in Halo. What is Apple going to use to sell their box, Angry Birds Space and Inifnity Blade II?
It isn't really an investor system though for a couple of reasons; Investors expect to have their return come from the success of sales of the product or services, with Kickstarter the backers either invest because they want the end product or because they want some prize/swag offered at their pledge level. Investors…
I really liked World at War's single player campaign, of course it is short. A couple of friends and I got a couple 12 packs and blew through it in a night when it came out. A good time for sure, but the plot is pretty generic WWII stuff.
If you haven't checked them out Operation Sports has a dynasty forum where people essentially write the stories of their career and dynasty modes for pretty much every sports game. Some of them are really fantastic, one of my personal favorites is [www.operationsports.com]
I really like to write a storyline for my player/coach as each season goes on. In College Hoops 2K8 I was a young assistant who recruited well and got my first job at North Florida. I showed my stuff by landing a 5 star prospect in my first year and eventually moved on to the Xavier job. As a former Indiana player and…
The difference between the Godfather 2 and Halo 3/CoD4 is that I expect they will wait until well into the next lifecycle to pull the plug. Look how long Halo 2 survived because Microsoft kept the original XBL running. Although I am a bit surprised that CoD4 is still alive over 4 years (and 4 CoD games) later. I…
If it is available legally for purchase then you buy it. $5 for Fallout (a game that would have sold for $40 or $50 new) is a deal. If you can't afford that price then maybe you picked the wrong hobby to get into, as gaming is one of the more expensive ones out there.
Why? The data always says no one is playing those games 2-3 years after release, especially the sports titles. EA hasn't had a game like Call of Duty 4 or Halo 3 where even after a sequel or two the older game is still constantly on the top of the XBox Live charts (or other online services). The server shutdown turns…
But most of the gameplay and mechanics were ripped straight from Super Mario Bros. I also don't really get what makes it more elegant or complete than Super Meat Boy, a platformer where each level has a perfect flow that is a bigger achievement than anything Braid did.
I feel the same way. Blow didn't make this game just because he wanted to make some artistic point. He did it because he wanted to make money (otherwise he would have released it for free). No matter what they say every artist that tries to make a living off their art dreams of hitting the jackpot.
So Blow essentially rips off Super Mario Bros and throws a wall of text (that is averagely written at best) to tell his story and that makes it deep, contemplative, personal and artistic? I enjoyed Braid as a game but find Blow to be almost insufferable with the pedestal he seems to have placed himself on. I didn't…
A lot of people have said the multiplayer is really fun (journalists, friends, random people on the internet) but I just haven't been able to really get into it. I played it enough to get to 4000 EMS (about 70% readiness for me) and then called it a day. Maybe I am not playing the right character.
If you feel the need to ask all of your friends and family for a consensus on even the most minor decision you might be a Geth.
I'd get behind a PAX Midwest, but it should be in Indianapolis.
Honestly the old Genesis Sonic games removed speed all the time. Generally Green Hill Zone (or its equivalent) was exactly what everyone expected, just hold right and jump, and they are the levels everyone has fond memories of. After that there are plenty of zones where you have to slow down, ride moving blocks, do…
This is the reason I always start my NBA 2K12 My Player's at age 19 even though for a few of them I envision that they spent the full 4 years in college. I don't want the game to kick me out early.
Trust me when I say the game itself will be worth it. It is a spiritual successor to the classic Harmonix games Frequency and Amplitude. Especially for a single player, it will test your fingers and be a lot of fun.
Which is essentially Amplitude which was the sequel to Frequency. Might as well go all the way.
Your second point is pretty terrible. You can't seriously criticize MLB: The Show, NHL 12, Tiger Woods 12: The Masters, Fight Night or NBA 2K12 for lack of quality. These games do more than just "make better graphics and change/add some data sets."
