Even if you are doing a 5 man as a healer all you see are health bars, you just can't ever take your eyes off of them. They are like my cat, as soon as I look away for even a second they do something they shouldn't.

NBA 2K12 couldn't have predicted Jeremy Lin because no one in the world saw this coming. They had Lin in the game as everything we knew: relatively unathletic score first guard with a streaky jump shot, average to below average passer, liability defensively one-on-one and a tendency to attack the rim. Nothing about…
Looking through the roster who are they missing from out of the rookies. Except for the guys who stayed in Europe I can't find anyone missing.
These games are improved yearly, especially in the case of the NBA 2K series (and the other top tier titles like MLB The Show, the EA NHL series and Tiger Woods). While someone who isn't familiar with the sport or sports gaming may not find much different between each iteration these small changes make the games…
Not too long ago they also had a line about Lin going very well with MSG.
Stop posting rumors and speculation about future games on which no formal announcement has been made.
20 points a season is probably not likely, but if you watch the way he plays and how he gets his points you can tell that this isn't just a matter of him surprising teams. He has a knack for getting into the lane and scoring, he uses the pick and roll well (probably the most important play in the NBA for a PG), has a…
Whoa! Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. We still have the XBox 720 to get through. If I have to wait another 4-5 years for Fallout 4 on the XBox 1080 I might hurt someone (probably myself, I'm clumsy and weak).
I don't understand why writers feel like video game writing isn't a legitimate thing. It seems like all of them are looking for the "greener pastures" of novels, film and TV. I don't want to rant in this thread, but I expect a speak-up post to come from this. Stay tuned!
There are definitely some good points but ultimately Miyamoto has overseen this series. He is pleased with what has been produced. I think he is a Zelda fan in the sense that he believes the only true Zelda is LoZ (and possibly 2). I see him as a fan of a couple of games and wishing the modern entries would revert to…
I think it creates some real decisions and dilemmas, especially when you get your second class. There have been times I wished I took another damage dealing ability instead of a heal or times where I wish I had a rebuff instead of damage. Giving you access to your whole spellbook gets rid of that.
Phantasy Star Online (and Universe) both required a monthly fee on 360 to play online.
The point of Guild Wars is that you have to plan it out. You have a spellbook of 20-30 abilities but you are only allowed to "equip" 8. That meant you had to decide before entering every combat zone/pvp area what you would roll with. I really enjoyed it.
Everything I have heard points to yes. Instead of doing the hub area and then individual instances for each player/group it is supposed to have the persistent world where everyone is playing together at the same time.
The only thing I would worry about with Lin is how much of his success is because of D'Antoni's offense. The seven seconds or less offense is based completely around a point guard using ball screens and getting into the lane and then making decisions from there. As good as Nash is he was at his MVP level when he had…
Whatever. Microsoft's console brand is completely tied to the XBox name (as is Sony with the PlayStation name). Only Nintendo can get away with completely random names for their consoles.
I would have paid out the ass for Last Generation's Portable.
Eh, Microsoft will end up with another Xbox. The difference between Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo is that the Sony video game brand is PlayStation (and for Microsoft it is Xbox) while Nintendo's brand is Nintendo.
I think that is about right for him, assuming he keeps it up (I think he will for the most part fyi). If we look at John Wall's rookie season and Lin (essentially a rookie since he never played significant minutes before) they are pretty comparable, with Lin being the better scorer. Wall was rated 79 as a rookie so no…
That is because there is always an issue with ratings and production. Jose Calderon is 4th in the NBA in assists per game right now. He is ahead of guys like Deron Williams, Derrick Rose, Tony Parker and John Wall. No one would argue Calderon is a better player or passer than those guys but at the same time you have…
