At first, I was like “Undertale seems to be a ripoff of Yume Nikki.” Now its confirmed.

I have yet to complete Undertale, so I won’t be reading too much into this character or what his/her/its deal is. But just looking at that image reminds me of White Face and Uboa.

That creature’s appearence is eerily similar to Uboa, from Yume Nikki. Not surprising, considering how obviously Undertale pays homage to Yume Nikki in its structure and visual design, but still something worth pointing out.
