I was warned by the guy behind the O’Reilly’s counter on my last visit (a month ago) that since COVID, the quality of the standard WIX filter has been “off”. WIX filters have been leaving factory with metal shavings in the filter.

Has anyone else heard this?

I was quite surprised with all writers’ practical recommendations as well.  There wasn’t a ‘joke’ option suggested this time.
