On the other hand, I wouldn’t think there would be a market for out-of-date stock stereo heads units out of cars as well, or someone smashing a car window out to take the change out of an ashtray but it happens. When people are dumb, or desperate for money they’ll do anything thing for it.

I only care about the powertrain. The rest comes second.

I took the stock cats off my Camaro and took them to a recycle center where I got $60 for both. I wanted to sell them on eBay since they were brand new (replaced because GM emission recall has to cover problems for the life of the vehicle), but they have some rules about selling used emissions items.

My father didn’t pay $50 and he has the start/stop turned off on his new GMC Sierra. Not the same story on the Buick Enclave they just bought as well.  He hates that feature so much.

I found my Camaro, but it was done by Johnny Lightning. I’ll do the same dance when I find one done by Hotwheels on rack at the Grocery store.

I’m not sure if “trounce” is the right word. Count the GM twins as one (because we all know its the same truck), then it’s not sales king that you might think. That being said, the only years that they surpass the F150 in sales is when they come out with an all-new model.

Depends on what kind of wax you are using. Most waxes are the cause of headlights becoming cloudy. Also, polishing takes off the protective coating that allows the UV rays to damage the lights.

I had my car detailed and specifically asked to have my headlights masked off on my DD.  They didn’t, but you don’t know until…

This is way I’m even hesitant to get an aftermarket head unit for my car.  Once I install it, I’ll notice that it’s too bright for night driving or isn’t dimmable.

That’s what I was hoping as well. The light was on for fuel in her new car and she made a dumb decision not knowing how far she could make it.

Of course it wouldn’t have been news if she waited in line, ran out of fuel, and a good samaritan helped push her car up to the pump.

What was she thinking that she thought going to the front of the line was okay?

That’s where I’m at now. I’ve got the DD Impala, and the Camaro toy. I considered getting rid of both cars for one nice SS/G8. I couldn’t do it. I still hope to replace the Impala with one of the better performance sedans for DD, but I’m a Jalop... we don’t have money.

Unless you own a Manual G8 GXP or Chevy SS.  

Maybe since he’s missing some parts like exterior lighting, insulation, carpet, wiring it’s more like he avoided “added lightness.”
