Just overinflate them a little.  You’ll be fine.

So was it a “Let it Go” of internal combustion engines?

I’m just spit-balling here, but the Merc being down almost one liter and weighing about 300 lbs more may account for the difference. The gains (small improvements for ICE over those 15 yrs) were getting the same performance, out of less displacement and probably while burning it cleaner too.

They are going to have to hold onto those for a while before they can sell them. The thief will get caught because he’ll brag about them or not be smart enough to wait.

Just wait until the repair bills come...

How hard is it to catch these idiots who are spoiling it for everyone? There are cameras everywhere now. Just offer a reward for videos that document the actions and the license plates of the offender.

These get into accidents a the same rate as any Camry. So besides not wanting to get hit by something large (why not ban box trucks and buses), then what’s the point?

Full size trucks as well? You never answered what size would be the limit.

What about Ford Mustangs? They seem unreasonably dangerous as well.  They even have a meme for it.

Kinda like Boomers whose sole reason for voting for Trump is piss of Millennials.

Or being forced out... and can’t find a equivalent job afterwards.

Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani won’t let their engineers drive what they design.

Thank you David for putting before and after pics in the article.

The NPs on this are ones who missed this wasn’t an Ecoloss-v6.

What?  They couldn’t put remote start on it?

Can you fit a rear-facing car seat behind the passenger’s seat with that seat adjusted to fit a 5' 11" person? The last Forester I tried in the early 00's couldn’t fit a rear-facing seat in any configuration.

They will program some lag into the HVAC controls so in 3 years you’ll get fed up and buy another car.

Do they program lag into the system to get you to buy a new car after 3 years?

If I remember correctly it saves on tooling costs and speeds up the build since you can snap on a cover to “hide” the slop in the build. It’s still painted underneath, just less quality control.

Like anything else with most manufacturers what they’ve done to save on costs (someone mentioned the 6 speed trans on this
