I was headed up I-35 from Wichita to the twin cities just before Christmas one year trying to beat a snowstorm. Just north of Des Moines, the rain starts to freeze and turn to snow. Once the roads were coated with packed snow the traffic became only passenger cars since the all the truck drivers had the sense to stop.…

Came here to say that as well. The solar panels (currently) don’t add much of anything in the way of charging at all.  Just added expense and complication.

Catch someone on the wrong day though and it could end badly for either  person.  You just never know.
