I never understood that until I saw Watchmen, in which the single most interesting parts of the movie were the parts that were not in the comic.

I was lucky enough to watch the pilot. The plot was changed heavily but it works. It had been a number of years since I read Preacher, but they nailed the characters and that was the most important aspect to me.

The best callback was his looking at Kreiger "the Food Rapist" to keep his hands off the Crab Rangoon.
