Under bankruptcy I don’t get a choice on using a credit card, plus I don’t plan on getting one ever again after discharge. The APR is crap and the rewards are mostly trash, in terms of like cash back.

Its not the stations doing that. The card vendors charge places when someone uses a credit card. And recently they decided to raise the fee on businesses that accept their cards.
