This latest shooting by Minneapolis police happened ONE BLOCK FROM WHERE I LIVE. This was NOT a situation like Amir Locke—-who in 9 SECONDS from knocking on the door was shot, when Locke appeared to barely have awakened from sleep.

Thomas owes his place on the Supreme court in part, to black folks. When Anita Hill made her accusations of sexual misconduct against him, most black folks reflexively called her a liar and a vengeful woman who wanted to destroy the career of a rising black man.

Remember they sentenced the Ethiopian black cop who killed the Australian blonde woman in Minneapolis to 12 1/2 years. He made a “mistake” also but her life is more valuable. They finally went to something more normal of 57 months which is STILL damn near 5 years.

Two years is basically time served. And the prosecutors and the judge are out there saying that this will help “heal” the community

The judge basically had more sympathy for the killer.
