Zelda. Just… Zelda. And a bit of Bomberman when my partner gets fed up with Zelda and wants a go on something multiplayer.

I GOT ONE. Amazon Prime Now for the console, hookup from a mate at a game store for Zelda special edition and Bomberman. The last few hours of work are going to be torture.
Wow, fuck SXSW. Everyone come to the UK for Manchester Punk Fest and Carefully Planned Festival instead this year aye?
It was just… technically it worked fine, it just used the actual racetracks as battle courses, and they really don't work as battle courses. It was impossible to find anyone.
Surely not for single player games, like Zelda? Would be a bit silly to make a portable console that needed always-on internet to play.

Yeah it won't be a launch day buy for me, but I'll definitely have it eventually.
Maybe! I'm kind of jealous - go forth and enjoy your life free from buffeting by the winds of hype.
I generally stay away from video game news, but Pokémon Sun and the Switch have pulled me right back in of late. And if there's one thing I've painfully had to relearn, it's that the comment sections underneath articles on video games are often the most petty, childish, outraged and ridiculous places on the internet.…
My partner plays as Rosalina and she is awful at Mario Kart, as much as she loves it (she's way better at Mario 3D World but refuses to play it with me, because if she's good at a game then the game must be rubbish because she's rubbish at games…) so my view of her is a little bit coloured by that…
Oh, that's interesting - I generally found it pretty evenly balanced. I think one of my favourite things about the game is that it is actually relatively easy (compared to say CoD or something) for newcomers to hold their own and even win against pros with a little bit of luck.
Of course I'd love it if it was cheaper - or the same price but boxed with Zelda (or at least 1-2-Switch), but hey. It's not outrageous. I do think the controllers look a bit pricy though, particularly the pro controllers - and I definitely will need one of those for something like Zelda I think.
Really? In what way? I sank hours into playing Splatoon online with randoms and had a fine time myself!
"Yeah but the frame rate is slightly worse than the PS4, rendering it completely unplayable, you absolute moron."
I mean, I'm 100% team Link in MK8 - he's the first guy who's ever made me break away from Yoshi as my default. I REALLY hope that the Switch version includes the BMW DLC pack as well, because the BMW Silver Arrow is my go-to body.
If my pal doesn't call I'm planning on a quick walk around town on Friday, or maybe Saturday, to see if I strike lucky. If not I'll pre-order one somewhere and basically just stick my head in the sand and ignore the internet until it shows up. I think I'll manage. I can just hammer the Pokémon Sun battle tree. Or…
Actually gutted I got a job near to where I live like a total idiot so I can walk in now, rather than being able to play train Zelda every day.
Got a mate at a game store who's gonna call me if anyone who hasn't paid for their pre-order doesn't come in to pick it up… taking all my trade-ins to work with me JUST IN CASE.
Yeah I totally agree with you there. It's pretty much perfect (or it will be once the battle mode is fixed) - just chuck me some new tracks, maybe a new racer or some vehicle options every year and I'll honestly be happy.
Yeah for the millions of people around the world who will get the train to work every day (sometimes up to an hour or more), I'm sure the Switch holds some appeal.
