I have nothing to add, I just wanted to say I love everything you’ve had to say on this thread.

Many read most of the Genesis excerpts pointing to life begining with animation/breath, the whole “god breathed life into Adam” thing. This, of course, has been a point of contention for some time. But, this would NOT have been something the writers of the bible were unfamiliar with.
