As a labour activist and union worker, I am pleased with the approach unions are taking to sexual harassment and assault and domestic assault. Unions don't have the best history in women's issues but the last 30 yrs have seen some dramatic changes, particularly in public sector unions like Weingarten's.

I was inspired by the bravery of these women and the change they're creating. Not just change in policy, but change in our culture.
