Exactly what I was going to say. Or perhaps some enthusiast put the quad grill on and Euro-bumps (like I did to mine)

Interestingly most people treat their appliances the same way but most often simply buy a new one since the cost is so much lower. They don’t understand the refrigerator either but just get it fixed/replaced. No one ever says “ I hate refrigerators! I’ll just move next to the deli so I don’t need one.”

Makes me long for the days or NARRA better known as NARA.

Pretty sure that’s a Datsun, dude!

Once upon a time you had to reach out of the car and adjust the mirrors with your hand (kids these days!)

This is the car you drive and park outside the bank when you need loans. They’ll gladly give a “high-roller” like yourself any sums of money. Which is handy since you’ll need loans eventually to pay for parts and service. But lordy, the drive to the bank and back is glorious. Also when it stops running and the loan

Remember when ProRally had Open class where you run stuff like that? Jeeps with huge v8s, Aspens with 4WD, Ford Escorts that looked like tube frame sprint cars. Ahh, the old days before the manufacturers got involved.

Do they get Florida weathermen to stand up in 125 mph wind to hold the smoke wands?

vertical aero forces (downforce) as 125 mile an hour wind flows over and under the car’s bodywork.

At first I thought this was about VW’s Chattanooga plant. Isn’t it built close to the old TNT manufacturing plant?

15715? I’m going to suggest that’s an car which might not be expected to get up to 99,999.

I usually love the show but this episode just left me flat.

Just bad stories.

That episode sucked so bad. The whole Jaaag piece with Rory was horrible. They set up a “race” with no tension. At no time did I fear he wouldn’t make it. He never seemed worried. Nothing got in his way (oh darn he got tired!) It was highly anti-climatic. Worse piece I’ve every seen on TG.

You’re closer to the truth than you might think.

See the FIA suitcases in the back of the car?

“I live my life a quarter mile at a time . . . For those ten 35 seconds or less, I’m free.”

I loved my Saab. Wish I hadn’t sold it. In a related note I wouldn’t buy another one.

The good news is that, unless you’ve got wet hands, touching your car’s battery posts is not likely to shock you due to your body’s high internal resistance. But that doesn’t mean your typical 12-volt battery isn’t dangerous.
