Thanks!
Thanks!
Firestone made experimental colored tires on the Chrysler Turbine car for the Indy 500. I remember seeing one drive through my neighborhood with red tires. I believe they also had them rigged to light up at night. Ask Steve Lehto.
First I’ve seen it mentioned. Thanks! I was just amazed at the resemblance.
Exactly! Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
Is this raccoon girl?
Here’s a little research I did on the topic...
Fast but a handful.
Unfortunately this was the early 80's. So no.
I had a friend that autocrossed a Mk1 Scirocco with a Drake SuperVee engine. Had to remove the rain tray to make the velocity stacks fit. Made incredible sounds at full throttle.
Nope! Not one Buick part on it. And we can be thankful for that. My first new car was a 74 Opel Manta and I was given the manual that they gave the Buick mechanics to figure out how to work on the car. Very thorough, as if they were coaching them thru doing mechanical work for the first time. Explained everything.
Suddenly I have an urge to watch Down Periscope and Red October back to back. And maybe Operation Petticoat.
What? No subwoofer?
Dual horns are most often tuned to a dissonant chord such as a 7th. Research showed it was more noticeable farther away, giving warning at longer distances. Cadillac of course had to offer a sweeter 6th chord making sure you realized that the elite was honking at you.
Did I hear they’re giving away Ford spokesmodels?
So I’m confused. Does this sign mean that Doug Demuro can park his new-to-him Aston Martin here or has it been ex-communicated when Ford sold AM? Is there a grandfather clause?
If the garage is big enough for both then there’s still room for another GT40 in there!
You should look into the various methods used to get music in vehicles. Record players, tape/wire recorders (most states have laws against the use of a tape recorder in the car because they’re too distracting :-/).
Someone almost bit off more than she could chew.
Hardly new. Audi used a bottle of compressed air in Walter Rohrl’s Quattro at Pikes Pike to overcome the issue of altitude change decreasing boost.
