The original briefcase automobile (from the Wizard of Space & Time) Mike Jittlov built it for the movie using a suitcase and a Rolls-Royce starter motor. It had no brakes and topped out at 35 mph which scared Jittlov to death. Full film here http://youtu.be/3ldOTw60Ozg

I'd suggest a show where teams are given old cars or Craigslist specials and a challenged to get them running. We'll call it <span></span>

Rocket belonged to private firm and was launched by NASA at their Wallops Launch Facility.

NASA blew it up on purpose due to a malfunction that may have sent it off course into populated areas. The turbo pump didn't cause the explosion.

The night racing scene brings me to tears.

The sound effects recorded for that scene have been used by tons of movies since! The whole scene was filmed with no permissions, they just did it one early Sunday morning.
