It really just looks like BMW looked at the Lexus RXxx0 series and said, ‘here, hold my beer, let me show you how I can out-ugly you’.

Frankly, it’s Torchinsky. Him and his cute little personal NEV. Damn him. The want is strong.

Alas, you should be greatly disappointed on knowing the reality of it.

Ah, bummer.

So what prompted the sale of it? The usual rot?

Those are nice too. But if I had to have a 131, the Abarth is it.

Cute car. My preference for FIAT is the 124 Sports Coupe

Good enough for me. Literal ring-side seat is a qualifier.

It’s more than likely than quite a few parents have given exactly the reverse of what you did.

Slightly O/T,  but what do you think of Barber Motorsports Park?

I’m ok with it. Just that like too many cars nowadays, the BMW especially is full of stuff for the driver and not enough stuff for the mechanic. Parts for these things are going to be a pain and crazy pricy. What’s the point of all that engineering when the car in a few years is going to be unaffordable just because

Way back when I worked with a guy from the Mid-West. He could’ve come from anywhere though. He was intelligent, well-read (carried Shakespeare or such with him!), had interesting things to say, worked hard. He was pretty typical of a youngish working-class guy who was trying different things out. At least, so it

You’re right; corporations and rich people can buy/own lots of stuff that’s been jacked up. But I find these gold trimmed S-76s sad because they’re missing the black marble. And a proper interior wall to go with (never mind the Mexicans paying for it). It’s big enough to carry a small taco salad bar though.

Don’t think the Constitution guarantees him Secret Service protection. Especially since the Secret Service didn’t exist when the Constitution was written. However, under DHS, it has the authority. Ironically, Obama made it a “permanent” thing whereas previously, it was a 10 year span.

So, AAA or ADA or flak? The world wonders.

I suspect they were just a bit of the corruption problems overall and the publicized ‘poster boys’ for effect. It’s impossible to find on the web but in that same period, Brewster which built the infamous Buffalo fighter and a great number of other planes poorly was busted for having a fairly large Nazi sympathizer

Very mesmerising. Nice pace to it.

Well, that’s what I was referring to, the Aeroplane division which is the most recognizable part of Curtiss-Wright historically. You’re right though, ‘went under’ is the wrong phrase. More like uncompetitive so no longer viable. Although, you could say that the Jet Engine group was pretty up there as well when they

Very interesting. Curtiss-Wright, huh? You know when it went under way back when right after WW2 (and they couldn’t make the XF-87 Blackhawk a sale), the management had the engineers just throw out all their drawings into the trash. Can’t remember the guys’ name but one of them felt that was just too much and went
